One Year and Counting Until the

2009 U.S. Senior Open Tees Off

One-year out from the 30th U.S. Senior Open Championship at Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel, championship organizers are setting a record pace. Corporate sales are so strong that additional venues have been added to the site. Also, volunteer registration and ticket sales have been very successful.


The local business community has embraced the championship and the various hospitality packages available. “To date, we have sold 90% of our corporate hospitality a year in advance of the championship,” said General Co-Chairman, Tom Buck.  Read more.

 

Tickets on Sale - BUY NOW!

Tickets for the 30th U.S. Senior Open, to be held July 27-August 2, 2009 at Crooked Stick Golf Club are now on sale.  Spectators can select from two ticket options, the Championship Weekly ticket or the Pete Dye Club ticket. Both options include complimentary parking and shuttle transportation to the main admission gate.  Tickets are available at Indiana Kroger stores, by calling 877-281-OPEN or on-line

 

Corporate Hospitality Sales off to a Great Start

 

With a little less than 12 months remaining before the 2009 U.S. Senior Open at Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel, championship organizers have set new standards for corporate hospitality sales with more than 85 percent of the  inventory sold to numerous local, regional and national companies.

“The support that we have received from the corporate community has been tremendous,” said Senior Open general co-chairman Steve Baker. “We knew businesses would embrace this event, but could never have anticipated such a high demand so early in the process.”  Read more

Volunteers Registering at Speedy Pace  

 

More than 1,500 volunteers from 28 states have registered to volunteer for the 2009 U.S. Senior Open! Priority committees are on the brink of being full, with just over a third of all volunteer spots filled already. To continue to the volunteer application, click here.

Volunteers will welcome and assist 156 of the world’s best professional and amateur golfers and the more than 150,000 spectators expected to attend the week of the championship. Positions are expected to fill by October 2008!  Read More
